FOX Sports App Missing on TV? Use FOX One in 2026 brings the relevant TV, app, and platform checks together. Identify the exact device before following menu instructions or drawing a compatibility conclusion.
Confirm the exact device and platform. Use low-risk checks first. App availability, firmware version and root cause are not assumed from a brand or series name.
Why the old TV app is missing
FOX Sports says the FOX Sports app on TVs and connected devices ended on May 7, 2026. FOX One is its replacement for watching FOX Sports on those screens. The FOX Sports app on phones and tablets was not part of that TV-app retirement.
What to do
- Open the TV or HDMI streamer’s official app store and search for FOX One.
- Check FOX One’s current supported-device and minimum-OS list for your exact platform.
- If you have an eligible TV provider subscription, choose the provider sign-in path shown inside FOX One. Otherwise, review FOX One’s account options on its official site.
- If FOX One is missing, confirm the TV’s full model and OS version before assuming a software fault. Reinstalling the retired FOX Sports TV app will not restore it.
Device limits matter
FOX lists different minimums for Roku, Fire OS, Samsung, LG, VIZIO and Apple TV. The list does not make every exact TV SKU compatible, and it does not automatically cover Vega OS. Use the FOX One compatibility guide and the provider’s current app-store listing.
When to get more help
If the issue persists after the safe checks, use the TV maker for power, display and system faults; the app provider for a single app or account; and the internet provider for a network-wide outage. An app or model-specific compatibility decision needs the exact SKU and a current official source.
