Before you start

Confirm the exact device and platform. Use low-risk checks first. App availability, firmware version and root cause are not assumed from a brand or series name.

What changed on TV

FOX says its former FOX Sports app stopped being available on TVs and connected devices on May 7, 2026. FOX One is the current app for FOX Sports on those devices. The FOX Sports phone and tablet app is a separate case.

Check your device

  • Search the TV or streamer’s own app store for FOX One, not the retired TV app name.
  • FOX lists Roku OS 11+, Fire OS 6+, Samsung Tizen TVs from 2019, LG TVs from 2020, VIZIO TVs from 2016, Apple tvOS 17+, and supported Android/Google TV devices. Exact models still need an app-store check.
  • If the app asks for activation, use the address shown inside the official FOX One app and sign in with an eligible TV provider or FOX account.

Compare platform requirements

See FOX One’s documented platform conditions. Vega OS is not listed in the checked FOX One requirements, so this site does not infer support from a Fire OS rule.

When to get more help

If the issue persists after the safe checks, use the TV maker for power, display and system faults; the app provider for a single app or account; and the internet provider for a network-wide outage. An app or model-specific compatibility decision needs the exact SKU and a current official source.
